Homemade Crème Fraiche



Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk

Instructions

1. Combine whipping cream with buttermilk. Pour into a clean, warmed glass jar. Cover tightly.

2. Keep in a warm place for 6 to 8 hours. When the mixture has thickened, refrigerate. It will thicken further in the refrigerator. Homemade crème fraîche will keep for a week in the refrigerator.
